Limmud Festival is ‘a pioneering festival of Jewish learning’ (Jonathan Freedland, 2019)

It’s a place for community, learning, discovery, empowerment, diversity, debate, laughing, dancing, families, volunteering. Limmud Festival is a place for you to discover something new.

Festival is built and run by volunteers, and your contribution is important. From the Yad scheme or Festival Makers programme, to our Madrichim team, to event sub-teams, to the volunteers who give an hour or two here and there, there’s always an opportunity for you to contribute to running Festival. Limmud Festival is truly made by you.

With hundreds of sessions and thousands of participants from around the UK and across the world making up the most vibrant Festival community, follow your passions or do something totally new, as you create connections and long lasting memories.

Our mission is that wherever you find yourself, Limmud will take you one step further on your Jewish journey. At the heart of Limmud Festival is an outstanding programme. From Hillel to Hummus, we’ve got everything you could imagine, and even more!

We are so excited to share with you that our High Holy Day publication RENEWAL, by Limmud Festival, is now available to read.

A few weeks ago we put out a call for submissions on the theme of Renewal to bring together into a High Holy Day publication. We know this theme represents how many people are feeling going into the new year, hoping for an opportunity to start afresh, especially after what has been an unexpected and, at times, difficult year.

This year, Limmud Festival will take place virtually

Limmud Festival Shabbat: 25-26 December 2020
Limmud Festival: Sunday 27 - Tuesday 29 December 2020
